Specialized Institute for Engineering
Industries, one of the specialized scientific centers in the
industrial field, providing engineering consultancy for the
public sector and the mixed and private sectors in several
areas, including: studies, applied research, design,
solution of problems in technology, engineering tests and
analysis of mechanical, chemical, electrical and metal
....etc.
Expansion of the Institute to include the quality management
structure (in the year 2000) to assist organizations in
implementing effective systems for quality management
requirements under the international standard specification
(ISO 9001: 2008) to confirm that the specifications required
in a particular service or product will be obtained as
optimal, and every time most successful and effective way
Advisory services of the Department
1.
Provide technical assistance and advisory services to
companies of different types of rehabilitation issues in
accordance with the requirements of international standard
specification (ISO 9001:2008) .

Administration of scientific programs and applied subject to
the qualification of auditors under the specification of the
quality of international standard (ISO19011: 2002) .
3.
Studies of the initial evaluation of quality management
systems in accordance with the standard (ISO 9001:2008) .
4.
Hold seminars tariff Quality Management Systems and ISO 9000
series .
**Section
depends distinct methodology based on the long experience in
the provision of consulting engineering for over nine years
and the high professionalism of the experts and staff who
have received professional training both inside and outside
Iraq, they were dependent on the international certificates
(presentation of certificates), which will provide a solid
foundation to support and stimulate companies for
organization and the effective application of quality
management system.
**The
methodology of work depend in the section of the application
of quality management system under the requirements of
international standard specification (2008: ISO 9001) is
aimed to establish the basis of an effective system supplies
operating systems in companies and interact with them to
achieve their goals and aspirations in the area of quality
of goods and services.
This methodology is based on:
First, identify the needs of the work to
be of later development of the system on the basis of these
requirements and needs the assistance of the international
standard specifications as a guide for us in addition to the
stages of the work support programs, special training .
The methodology involves four stages as
follows:
step I: assessment and planning.
step II: design and development of quality management system
and the development documentation.
step III: application of quality management system.
step IV: Review of quality management and internal audit.

1 - Many of the specialized courses in order to clarify the.
requirements under the quality management system standard
IS09001: 2008 .
2 - Many of the practical application program to create and
prepare the internal auditors of quality under the standard
IS019011: 2002 .
VI:
Obtained Quality Management Section of the Institute to
license from the Central Agency for Standardization and
quality control for clearance to the practice of
rehabilitation and training companies in the field of
quality and it is the only place in Iraq on this license.
Future prospects
The quality management system is being
applied in the Institute and we hope of obtaining a
certificate of conformity with the standard of IS09001: 2008
from one of the world sides during the 2009 .
Ambition does not stop at this point it goes beyond the
agency from one of the world organization to be giving the
first hand in Iraq, involved in this activity.
